VIVA Cruises has revealed details of its new river cruises for 2022. In doing so, the company will become the only river cruise line to operate throughout all of this year.
The specialist travel company has announced three new cruise experiences that will sail along the Rhine. Each cruise is themed around art, culture and wellness and will take place from January to March, through the vessels VIVA Tiara, VIVA Moments and Swiss Ruby.
The former was renovated in 2020, with an event schedule centred around arts, culture and culinary delights. The Viva Tiara will have 13 scheduled departures for its programme, which lasts four nights. Destinations include Antwerp, Amsterdam and Rotterdam.
The Viva Moments cruise will reportedly centre around wellness and relaxation. The four-night experience will begin and conclude in the city of Düsseldorf, with trips to the Middle Rhine and Rhine-Main along the way.
The Swiss Ruby will offer a more exclusive experience, with space for just 88 guests. The week-long cruise will arrive at cities such as Berlin and Düsseldorf.
“Our new themed cruises are being so well received by our international customers – bookings are growing day by day”, said VIVA Cruises COO Andrea Kruse. “Not taking a big winter break was absolutely the right decision for us”.
