Media Rates for Journalists Taking a Break in Thailand
Relax without deadlines. Outrigger Khao Lak and Outrigger Surin in Phuket have announced special year-round media rates of US$50 (THB1,730) for two people including breakfast, valid until 15 November 2022.
Manta Rays, Whale Sharks and Turtles
When I was talking to Outrigger Maldives Maafushivaru Resort marine biologist Lynn Kessler last week, she described the sites around the resort as “crazy good” for spotting manta rays. Lynn does a lot of underwater data collection on manta rays, whale sharks and turtles. Marine conservation journalists interested in visiting Maldives and writing about Lynn’s work should contact me.

Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort is scheduled to open 1 August with an initial 44 premier rooms available. The refurbished property will be very family friendly with a family beach club comprising three pools, waterslide, restaurant, plus a bar and new landscaping.
