Cleartrip Expands Low-Cost Travel Offerings; Onboards Akasa Air

Cleartrip expands low-cost travel

In a bid to increase affordability within travel, Cleartrip, a Flipkart company, announced the onboarding of Akasa Air onto its platform. This move will ensure greater connectivity for travelers nationwide, especially between tier-1 and tier-2 cities. As part of the launch offer, customers can now enjoy up to INR 2000 off on their first domestic flight booking on Akasa through Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel portals. The offer is valid until 31 March 2023.

Gaurav Patwari, Vice President – Air Category, Cleartrip, stated, “The onboarding of Akasa Air marks the beginning of an exciting chapter for Cleartrip. In February 2023, Cleartrip announced the onboarding of AirAsia Berhad onto its platform. This enabled customers to access a wider range of options for popular Southeast Asian destinations. In line with the growing demand, the company will continue to build its service portfolio and strengthen its partnership to offer comprehensive travel solutions to travelers across the board.
