The Chambers presents a captivating evening of music and cultural reminiscences in a very special Rendezvous with Maestro Zubin Mehta in conversation with renowned Journalist Karan Thapar on Thursday, 17th August 2023 at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai. A rare, in-person appearance by the Maestro, this immersive evening will be an amalgamation of music, conversation and fine-dining at IHCL’s flagship hotel.
Starting with a spectacular showcase by the Mehli Mehta Music Foundation’s Children’s Choir – the evening promises to be an enthralling mix of music and stories shared by the Maestro as he reflects on his encounters with the rich cultural heritage of Mumbai. From the city’s vibrant music scene, diverse traditions, and the iconic venues that have played a pivotal role in shaping his illustrious career – the Maestro will share personal anecdotes from his spectacular career.
The evening will culminate in a spectacular sit-down dinner by the culinary mavens of The Taj Mahal Palace, led by Executive Chef Amit Chowdhury, paired with fine beverages and soothing music.
