Promising the most-genuine culinary experiences, the team of chefs at Anise led by Executive Chef Sujan Mukherjee has curated a menu that features authentic delicacies that are a mix of South Indian and Anglo Indian cuisines. The food counters laid for the buffet is based on the grand old heritage of Madras Presidency, like the Marina Beach counter offering Nannari Sarbath, a traditional root drink and Peanut & Raw Mango Sundal served in hawker style. Try the Madarsipattinam Meen Kozhumbu, Thomas Munro Chicken Meat Ball Curry, and Erachi Urlai Roast from the Madras Railway Company stall. The Madras University counter serves the traditional Beetroot Vada, Vada Curry, and Omelette Curry with Onion Uthappam. Don’t miss the desserts at the St George Fort stall serving Caramel Custard, Banana Caramel Crepes, Godumai Paasi Paruppu Halwa; and Thenga Barfi.
