Expanding its collection of delectable culinary offerings, tropical hideaway Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is introducing holidaymakers to a new, multi-cuisine experience at Wok & Curry. Bringing together the cuisines of Vietnam, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia, China and India, the new restaurant highlights the rich abundance of flavours the region has to offer while lifting the lid on local cultures as guests go on gastronomic adventures that take them deeper with each bite.

With sweeping views of Pearl Island’s most scenic beach and the resort’s ocean-facing swimming pool, Wok & Curry invites guests to make the most of Vietnam’s balmy climate. The new outlet is helmed by Executive Chef James Williams who worked alongside a multicultural team of talented specialty chefs to create a menu brimming with home-style plates from across the region.

On the Indian menu created by Mohamad Siddique, authentic vegetarian dishes are offered alongside slow-cooked lamb, fish, seafood and chicken plates, as well as saffron-scented biryani and oven-fresh Indian bread. The expansive Vietnamese –Thai section brings together fierce spices from the Land of Smiles and aromatic native herbs in such classic dishes as nourishing beef and chicken pho soup, coconut milk-braised short ribs, and tender duck in coconut red curry flavoured with Phu Quoc fish sauce.

Courtesy of the resort’s own Korean chef Daewon Kim, Wok & Curry’s Korean selection features the perennial classics such as bibimbap, beef bone stew, bulgogi and spicy seafood tteokbokki. Finally, the fans of Chinese and Malaysian recipes will delight in Malaysian chef Razlee Bin Sutarchio’s rich menu featuring such Malaysian hits as nasi goreng kampung, sambal udang and curry laksa with tiger prawns, while Chinese cuisines are represented by XO fried rice, jellyfish salad and hot and sour seafood soup.

For dessert, the all-star culinary team is offering brioche fried in ghee and topped with reduced milk; decadent velvet chocolate mousse tartlet made with Ben Tre cocoa beans; peanut butter brownies; banana fritters with ice cream; and other sweet treats. Wok & Curry is open daily from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm and offers a wide selection of wines and beers as well as mocktails and fresh juices.
